Title: Slow starting in hot weather
Post by: wantmygti on 07 September 2016, 19:58
hi all, still have my 2007 GTi with 30k miles on the clock.

Recently I have noticed the car is slow to start in hot weather when the engine is cold. Once warmed up she starts fine and always starts fine in cold/cool weather.

She has never failed to start, but can require 2-3 prolonged cranks.

New battery fitted last year.

Any ideas??
