Post by: mwad gti on 07 September 2016, 13:14

Is anyone wast of Quantum oil. I'm due to have my car serviced next week with Quantum Platinum oil. Apparently it is VW approved but I've never heard of it....

My grandads skoda (56 plate fabia vrs, he bought it at 11 months old) has always had that stuff, from the dealer and since he started taking it to a private place.

Quantum is effectively "VW OEM" oil.

It's maybe VW UK approved, not VW OEM oil. It does fulfill specs required thou (but many other oils do too).
