Post by: mossy69 on 05 September 2016, 21:33
dropped my 2016 golf gti in silver link lookers for defective paint ,new tailgate spoiler as the old spoiler cant be re aligned and newmerous interior rattles in 3 of the door cards and the glove box have to leave it open whilst driving . Had an appointment booked for 5 with the service manager had to wait 35 mins to see him meanwhile I had been told he was out re fueling a car , he hadn't hed been there all the time.Picked up the courtesy car a beetle not my cup of tea I told him but he said there was a full tank of diesel on us ... Got in the car to drive off  on my way home looked at the fuel gauge it was empty had to put some diesel in ....never goingback there for service again think ill try pulman sunderland

Lookers (Formerly Benfield) Silverlink have always been sh!te for aftersales, either not looking into issues or damaging cars in their care -their sister Audi site in Silverlink recently managed to put 3 small dents on the windscreen pillar adjacent to where they've been fitting a new upper door seal (twice, and it still isn't right).

In my experience Pulman Durham aren't much better - Pulman Sunderland seem to be the best in Tyne and Wear at sorting things out.
