Title: Mk2 golf brake master cylinder 20v

Hello, been told to join this forum as ppl are really nice and can help 😃 My master cylinder leaking at the reservoir grommets ??? Was going to buy new one but don't look a normal mk2 one. It only has two brake pipes that comes off the cylinder and looks stupy. Pls help and thank you

Sounds like a ibiza cupra mc. Normal for 20vt conversions to run that one.

do the normal mk2 ones not have only 2 pipes coming off them? with 2 t-pieces on the bulkhead just above/behind gearbox?

They do but there not stubby. Normally when a 20vt is put in you use a cupra mc or a g60.
G60 is 4 port and when I last wanted a cupra one I got asked 4 or 2 port.
So assumtion would be stubby

standard mk2 would be cast iron and newer ones would be alloy?

Most likely the case. I know my mates 1St g60 one isnt made of the same metal is his replacement I fitted
