As all good film directors would say:
"It's a wrap"
And more than a little Gangsta
Gangasta (w)rap?
Still, one good way around the boring standard colours.
I'd like to wrap mine in Audi RS3 "primer" grey.

Funny you should say that, I noticed on the german VW site the choice of colors they get inc some special greens

Never thought of a full wrap on a nearly new car.
We had the front bumper bonnet n mirror caps done in clear on the wife's scirocco when we 1st bought it as we were about to do a 600 mile round trip but I must say it did start lifting in places a couple of months later and the guys who did it stripped it off refunded me so was a win win no chips n full money back lol that bein said she's 7 year old now and still no chips probably down to the not bein used and 12k on the clock no wonder the wife is thinking it's time to let her go

See a few pics of wrapped R's. Purple and pale blue, amongst others. Some far out colours can look great. Particularly liked the pale blue one, worked really well and it was based in a sunny country which suited it.

Do it Mr Ex. Could be an inspired choice. The Audi Nardo Grey is one of my fav colours.

Unless I had a huge unsightly scratch I don't think I'd ever actually get a wrap put on the car in reality.
I quite like the idea of having a wrap but couldn't bring myself to pay for it as its a massive expense you'd never get any return on.
I do think Nardo would look great on a Golf though.
Alas I think I've done all I'm going to do with the R.
Aside from a foot rest and Audi 12v thingy at some point...

Just been parked up next to a RS6 in primer grey. I have to say it looked pretty special

SEAT do a similar grey on the Cupra too. A friend of mine had one and it looked great at sunset parked next to my washing machine white.
I was reminded of it today when a new Ibiza Cupra Black Edition went by in the same grey shade.
I think the Ibiza must have better gearing than my R in the lower gears as it pulled away very quickly with no wheel spin in wet conditions. For a flat grey it seems very luminescent in the rain, you'd think it would turn invisible!!
Actually those new 192bhp Ibiza Cupras are amazing value and quite pretty too despite a cheap interior (same basic dash underneath as an A1 but in a less pleasant finish) and falling rock like residuals.
They have nearly as much standard kit as a mk7 Golf GTI and far more then their Polo GTI sibling & can be had with huge discounts. A great car if you're not hung up on image.
Oops, did I veer of topic?

I'm not that keen on green but saw an Audi S1 in green coming towards me the other day. It was impressive.
PS Exonian you are a nightmare to DM

D'oh!
Space cleared...
Green is a funny colour for cars, aside from a fad or British Racing Green a good few years ago it's never been that popular in the UK. Obviously Oak Green GTI's of a certain age and Dragon Green VR6's following on behind were popular as niche cars but as a mainstream colour we just don't seem to go for green, yet you do get some really nice shades.
