Title: LED headlights
Post by: Jan DR on 09 August 2016, 19:33
Hi,

I ordered a Clubsport and am already regretting that I didn't order the LED headlights... Does anyone has knowledge/experience about the possibility to replace the standard lights with LED lights? My dealer tells me it's very complex and maybe even impossible.

Thanks

What LED Headlights?  I have looked on the configurator for the Clubsport on the VW UK website and cannot see any LED headlights available as an option.  Do you have them as an option in Belgium?

Seems not full LED headlights, but "Xenon lights with LED daylights" if I try to translate...

Xenonkoplampen met LED-dagrijlichten en dynamische bochtenverlichting
1.600,00 € 1

The configurator has changed in the meantime: it's now a mandatory option, wasn't like that in April when I ordered... Maybe I get them for free

Hopefully they are standard, they will be a great addition to your cars spec. I think the Xenons with LED DRL lights was standard on UK cars so this maybe why I was confused?

Would be surprised if they would not be standard on clubsport..... :O but VW vary equipment greatly from country to country.

There are Xenons with Halogen DRL, iirc they were an option when I ordered my last car - with the LED DRL Xenons.
