Title: Mk6 golf boot pop mod

So I have been looking high and low to work out how to carry out this mod best.
I have seen some kits around but they are like £100.
I have seen some people saying get skids parts but can't find the correct part numbers for them....

Also seen a video of someone removing his struts and adding exhaust joint springs under the end covers and this working.

Just wondering what people have done and recommend doing....??

I also can't work out how you know if you have a secondary catch or not??

Does that not then cause rubbing of the struts on the paint work by flipping round the mount?
