Title: Mk5/6 gti exhausts

As for some annoying, bizarre and pointless reason the mk6 has an exhaust exit on both sides, would a mk5 gti exhaust fit my mk6 if i used a GTD diffuser thing. As i like my cars to look serious and purposeful not stupid and flashy, like is the norm, race cars dont have loads of exhaust pipes do they.

But they still have the same number of exhaust tail pipes though, just in different places  :wink:

A better bet (for fitment) would be to go to a custom exhaust place with a GTD diffuser and get them to make one up for you.

That said, they are the same floorpan so the mounts should fit, but there's no guarantee the tailpipes would line up with the hole on the diffuser.
