I saw an ad on eBay a couple of months ago for a ported head for the agg engine. They looked to be done by an enthusiast rather than a tuning company, I didn't save the seller though and now I'm interested, is it someone on here, or does anybody know who it is? Thanks in advance.

i would be more inclined to buy one of a reputable tuning company. they might cost more but they should deliver the goods. a bad porting job can actually decrease torque/power. I saw a ported head advertised on said website and it didn't even have the 3 angle seats cut into it, which tends to give the biggest gain on some heads . if your after a modest power gain why not get a cam instead?

The seller had done a few already, I was planning to ask a couple of his customers what the heads were like. I realise you get what you pay for but I have to reign in the spending somewhere. I've got a cam, and vernier pulley, cheers.

Not really an engine that is worth throwing money at, surely better to get a more powerful model. VR6s are cheap now, although finding a good one is getting harder

I hear what you're saying but I'm on a mission to at least make an agg what it should be!

have you searched with "completed items" option switched on?

Hi, good idea, I have tried but with no success, I think it must be too long since the ad. Thanks though.

Not an engine i would waste any money on myself because of the design of the head but each to their own i guess.
