To add an extra bit of security at the front door and driveway (well to keep an eye on the car!) i just got a Ring doorbell.
Superb bit of kit, its got a motion sensor that records and alerts you to motion at the front door and a wide angle lens.
You can answer the door via your phone if your in or out.
With all the thefts and attempted thefts it may just help!

The motion sense record is the best part, if its hard wired to the existing bell it rings that too.
Cheap way of keeping the car protected
