Title: Part numbers?
Post by: Damion on 09 July 2016, 22:42: Would anyone have the part numbers for the lower engine cover that has been omitted from the 2016 model R's (and and any other parts required to fit it)

Also needs 3 ball type screws according to an aftermarket kit.

I can believe they didn't fit this as standard!

Joe searched a few forums on this and the consensus seems to be removed along with some underbody trim parts to save money.
Not read anything on the safety side, was this a VW update or bulletin?

Glad to hear you got it sorted. I'm now changing/upgrading the jacking point.

Interested in a few of the underbody trims now.

With my Mk6 I fitted the under tray and tank shield from the Blue motion Golf. The under tray was longer and subjectively the car was quieter and I seemed to get the odd extra mpg.

My 2014 model has this part "missing"! :(
