So I picked up my GTD a few days ago and love it. The sound is great but I have one question.
In the individual mode I can adjust the setting for engine sound, but I was wondering if both the hockey puck and the exhaust speaker are both linked to that setting. I get the impression that they are when I play around with them but I can't be 100% certain. Ideally I'd just like to have the exhaust sound without anything extra in the cabin. Any info appreciated

I've had my GTD since April and never knew I could adjust the volume on the individual mode, I'll have to have a look into that when I get a chance.

You'll be able to set the engine to Eco, Normal or Sport which makes an audible difference. There's no actual volume control from 1 to 10, so to speak :)

Time to find someone with VCDS and make some changes for you...

I'm not sure the S&S equipped cars have a soundaktor but if they do it must be turned right down. All the noise seems to come from the exhaust alone.

S&S cars have both....i turned my soundaktor right down with VCDS, as I thought the two combined was a bit much

In our 2014 GTD it's hard to tell it's even doing anything and hasn't been tinkered with. Certainly doesn't produce the noise the non S&S car I test drove did. Oh well, no matter, not interested in that thing being any louder, the exhaust sounds good enough
