Hi everyone.
My Mk5 Golf Gti has a very squeaky break. I'm not sure if it's the right front or right rear. I thought it was the front, so I've had a brand new pair of pads put on - yet the squeaking is still terrible. So, It might be the rear, but I have no real idea. What could it be?? It's being doing it now for 6 months and it's getting worse. It seems to do it at a certain point, it can occasionally stop for a little, then it starts.
I worry that if I go and buy some new rear pads that I'll still be faced with the same issue. My front pads had 70% left in them, but I guessed it could have been uneven wear, but obviously wasn't.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Might just need the pads taking out cleaning up and coppergreasing where they sit and on the bit of pad that contacts the calliper if you havnt got anti squeel things on the pads

Cool. I'm getting some rear yellowstuff pads, hoping it will solve the issue.
