Title: Humming/buzzing

Being new to the golf, when i switch off after a drive, theres a humming/buzzing sound coming from the centre dash area, lasts a few mins, didnt happen on my scirocco so any ideas please?

Mine does that as well. Assume it may be electric coolant pump.

There one to keep water pumped through the Turbo for cooling after you switch off
