Title: Front wheel bearing
Post by: WeekendMechanic on 25 June 2016, 10:26
Hi so my left front wheel started to make a howling noise, when I turn right noise goes away, I`m going to rotate the tyres to make sure it still makes the noise If so I will be buying new bearing.
My question is do I just buy the bearings or do I have to replace both hub and bearing, keep in mind this is the first time they would have to be changed as car has 122500 km?

Hubs should be fine unless the bearing has workln the hb. Normally only happens when bearings have been driven on for a long time whilst being past it.
Last one I remember it felt like wheel was falling off and the hub needed replacing.
