Hi all,

New to the site, I ordered a Mk7 GTI at the start of the month and I'm hoping for early September delivery (not least to take advantage of the £500 loyalty offer that expires on the 9th Sept!).

I have an old Golf GTI that was a bit of project/potential track car, my daily has been a Seat Ibiza for over 7 years (firstly a 2005 1.4 petrol, and then a 2005 PD130 since this June 2012).  I almost ordered the Ibiza Cupra 1.8T, but the Golf is without doubt the better choice overall.

Anyway, I've opted for:
Carbon Grey
Performance Pack
Tech Pack
Parking Pack
19" Santiago alloys
90% light absorbing tints
Dynamic Chassis Control

Very much looking forward to the arrival!

Sounds like a decent spec indeed !   Best colour too (I'm not biased at all  :whistle:)

VW should honour the Loyalty offer as it was in place when you made the order.  Mine took 3 months from ordering to collection and they even dropped the APR in the meantime and honoured that too.

Hopefully, the deal is with VWFS as well and the £2k deposit contribution T&Cs state that it's only for vehicles ordered before the end of June and delivered before the end of Sept.  Will be an interesting conversation if the car is delayed until October and the car is effectively £2.5k more expensive!
