I learnt to drive in a 1.0L Nissan Micra....Light blue... Then did my test in a brand new Citroen AX....dark red. At the time it felt really nice to drive. I've grown up at realised how misplaced that enjoyment really was now...

Me too lol. Somewhere. Passed in a Vauxhall corsa with BSM. They were the only driving school to offer lessons in an automatic at the time (97-98)

September 8th 1998 Dad took delivery of a new Volvo V40... Was a bit of a step up  :whistle:

94 L plate Rover Metro owned by a pipe smoking driving instructor who would actually spark up whilst giving lessons ! By far in a way the worst car I ever drove before or since.

Another Nissan Micra 1.0, A reg 1983 in white. What an utter pile of khak. Went straight into driving my parent's Cortina 2000 GXL to school. Much better.

I later went on to buy one, and have fond memories of ownership (until I snapped the camshaft).
