Title: Replacing Hubs
Post by: th3_f15t on 30 May 2016, 22:29
Can you use the hub carriers (uprights) from an early mk3 Golf on a 16V with 256/280mm brakes?

Looking at this on eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191878282605

Looks identical to the hub's I have but far less than the mk2 16V advertised ones.

Yeh. You can use tdi ones if you can find them aswell.

Failing that mk3 gti hubs and use the bottom.joint aswell as its a different design

Oh, so the mk3 ball joint fits to the mk2 wishbone without issues?
