Title: A/C oring kit wanted

Anyone know where I can get all the a/c orings for the expansion valve,compressor and the rest of the joints for a mk3 as a kit and they could recommend please?

Not my company nor do I work there so dont see how thats sales. But bgbazz is right.

Have you tried a VW dealership?  :rolleyes:

That kind of stuff is usually not too expensive from them....

Yes I checked Etka and it only lists some. The ilastration look totally different and no kits.

Go to VW and ask them, the usual online ETKA catalogues are usually from quite old CDs thrown out by workshops....
Yes, there are probably no kits but what's the problem if you can buy all the individual ones?

I have one of those and none of them are the correct size

Every shop I look in in Europe I just can't seem to find someone who sells a whole kit I just bought one from the USA so I'm crossing my fingers that the golf mk3 in the states has the same type a/c in Europe

Do you seriously not have a VW dealer that can find you parts and sell them to you in 'all' of Malta so you need to import from the states?

Got me wondering too....and I thought that Bulgaria was the last frontier.  :undecided:

I tried buying these orings from them some 2 years ago but  if something is not in Etka then they don't help you I don't know if it's on purpose or that it's as far as there knowledge goes.
BTW my Etka is latest version with full updates too.

one goes into the the threaded edge inside the hose then that's tightened with a nut on another pipe and the other side has an oring around the lip which goes into the compressor but that's the side that I can find an o ring for .Its the nut side thats missing.
