Decided to keep gtd, got cambelt done etc and want to sort my ride out like I did with the mk4 (subtle touches)
Need to get coilovers...anyone thoughts but cannot spend a fortune I had fks on mk4 think 169.99 I paid and lasted for years...ride was hard but got used to it and thought it was the norm.
What about these as well I had h&r last time
361085935165 on ebay
Thanks guys

Your ebay link is to alloy spacers....
-
Yes they are well the number relates so I just wanted to know the answers to questions please
-
VWR springs were a good choice on the MK6; helped with the handling without killing the ride quality
-
So not coilovers like I had on the mk4?

I wouldn't unless you plan on tracking
Did you ever change the ride heght on the MK4 once you had fitted the coilovers? If no, then I'd simply replace the springs
However, depending on mileage it might be worth changing the shocks. Depends how much you have / want to spend really :undecided:

Don't want to spend a great deal to be honest....200....
Also would like a little gap as possible or something nicer than my current oem ride height
-
mines got lowered springs on with standard suspension ,the rides fine and the gap is tiny and handles well..
-
Where did u get your springs from?
-
they where already on when i got the car . couldnt tell you what make they are, i can try and have a look at the weekend for you to see if theres any labels or part numbers on them , there s about an inch gap between wheel and body looks amazing
-
Wicked that would be amazing as I had adjustable on mk4 wound down to the max and looked for me beautiful and now I feel I am driving a jeep in the mk6...
-
there cobra 07.8172 HA springs on the rear if that helps mate

Thank you 😀

Eibach sportline springs would be my choice. Works out around £300 with the fitting and tracking at our place.

Looked into it and do these fit the GTD e20-85-014-01-22 eibach sportline.... I have selected the GTi as correct me if I am wrong but thee GTD and GTi are pretty much the same platform?
