Title: Steering wheel noise!
Post by: chrismc on 10 May 2016, 13:26
Now this may just be me being fussy however it's bugging the hell out of me!

I'm not sure if it's linked with how soft the leather is on the wheel rim but it makes a right racket as & when you change your hand position on the wheel.

It's akin to rubbing your hands across a piece of wet & dry!

Now I'm an engineer by trade so my hands aren't the fairy-softest, however my wife driving produces the same swish-swish noise from the wheel!

Never ever experienced it on any other VAG car...is it a mk7'ism?
