Title: Hey Guys, New Here and need some advise please

I bought a 2006 Mk5 Golf GT tdi which has a complete GTI makeover.

It has the Gti heated leather seats with electric lumbar adjustment but are not connected so just manual and no heating. Both seats do have the module under them. (The heater control panel is standard and does not have the heated seat adjustment control).

It also has a Gti multifunction steering wheel which does not work with the aftermarket stereo or with mfd which is a half mfd.

My question is that i want to have the steering wheel working with with the stereo and i believe it only works with vw headunits if so which vw headunits will work with the Gti multifunction steering wheel.

I also want the heated seats working and i have read the retro fit guide but the more i read, the more i get confused.

I would really appreaciate if someone can kindly help me?

What aftermarket stereo is in car now, how is it connected?

Post a full auto scan of car.

I think you need a steering wheel interface to go with your aftermarket head unit.
