I have always liked black cars that have the chrome trim around the Windows...now I have my black gti is it possible to retro fit the chrome and if so how big a job ?

Anything is possible but VW don't put chrome window surrounds on any Golf, so you'll end up going down the Halfords route and that's gonna look absolutely f**kin terrible! Don't do it.

Anything can be done but don't do it as it will look naf.A black Gti looks perfect as is.Only my opinion of course,don't wish to offend.

Ok thanks, I have been looking at mk 7 photos and hadn't seen the chrome but I thought there must be a model with the chrome..pitty.

The mere thought of chrome trim on a GTI makes me feel unwell.
An A3 Sportback just about gets away with it but on a GTI? Noooooo!

No, chrome isn't for cars. chrome is for taps and cupboard handles, don't do it, please, it's bad enough on the R front grill.
