Title: LPG conversion on a mk3 gti 8v

lately i've been thinking about a LPG conversion on my mk3 gti 8v. Today i got quote for £1500 for full conversion and it would take 3 days. Has anyone done this conversion? If so what is the performance like?

Funny that, I got a quote from 2 places last week for my 8v Mk3 too!! One place couldnt even be bothered to tell me a price he just said "It's expensive for a car like that" and left me to it!!  :huh:
