Title: Reverse gear

Hi need help have a 1999 1.8 golf gti won't go into reverse been told it's the cable.is this an easy fix.plz

You could try re-tensioning the cables it only takes about 5 minutes to do -
All you need is a 6.5mm (or 5.5mm) pin to lock the gear stick in place then follow this guide -
