Title: head lights always on

hi need some help , just bought a mk5 2005 golf gti it has had some mods done , one of them is the indicators are on when running this dont bother me too much but my head lights and rear lights are on all the time as soon as i put in the key and turn on the ignition .
i have seen tha this can be set on vag com but does anyone know how to revert it back to standard i.e using the switch or the auto function on the switch

You need someone with VCDS or VCP I would imagine. Highly likely your headlights were coded to Scandinavian setting which you won't be able to change without said programs.

Indicators on all the time would bother me - illegal.  Someone probably wanted US style 'sidelights'.
