Title: Low battery

Hi everybody 👋🏻, does anyone know of a warning bong on the mk6 to indicate low battery? Dont use mine daily anymore unlocked it saturday and opened the door it was all "bong......bong........bong" started it it was really sluggish and miserable just for info really no readout on mfd

If the battery can start the car it can't be too flat, starting the engine is its hardest job.

When the battery starts getting low the car switches off non critical system.
So things like the interior lights may not be on when you open the doors or the leaving home lights etc.

I'd invest in a battery charger/conditioner. If you don't use the car much, the battery might not last all that much longer. They need to go through regular charge/discharge cycles to stay healthy.

Id love to but dont have a garage to store the car on charge its a relatively new battery and im assuming the condtioners run on 240v domestic power so a plug would be needed

I often leave mine for  months over the winter wiithout been on charge without issue. The battery does drop voltage in that time and kicks up a fault code as low voltage but it starts ok. I keep meeing to put it on charge during that time but forget and get side tracked.
