Hey guys I'm new here I've just bought a golf gti for the third time had it over a month now it's a Mk3 2.0 8v!!
Now I've found a few head gasket spacers for adding a turbo to one of these!!
Has anyone done this before?
And does anyone have any tips and help on how to turbo it?
I have already ordered Kent cam and pulley valve springs short shifter!! It's been port polished!! Just need a descent clutch! So next step is turbo?

Rip it out and put a 1.8t in it, gonna cost lotsa cash to turbo the 8v

Don't waste your time on an 8v AGG or ADY etc
Very little gain for very big money, not worth doing at all.

An example of what not to do
