Hi
Still having problems getting new front brake discs to fit
Just looked at my wheels and they are BBS RS771 1JO601025E
I have just looked at Wikipedia who state that Anniverary model was fitted with RS722
Does anyone know which is correct, and what the difference is between the two??
Many thanks
Mike

IIRC the easiest way to tell if you have true anni rims are if they are 7.5 inches wide and the similar ones fitted to Mk4 golfs are slightly thinner at 7 inches.
Not seen your other posts, what brakes are you running?
RXII's are known for being an problem clearing calipers, I must be lucky I have the 7" mk4 type on my valver -the calipers are close to the spokes but never had a problem.
Have you considered some hub centric spacers?
Edit: just had a look at your other post, mine are 288 discs and clear. Some people have ground back their rake calipers, not ideal but its a very small amount of metal to come off.

If it helps with your choice as far as clearing your brakes - I run 771's with standard brake set-up, not an anni but an 8v agg gti

I have just seen a set on Ebay that show part number as 1HDG0132549, but says they are RS722
Could they still be the correct ones?
Thanks

Thanks, i already did that, and as you say nothing comes up.
spacers may be an easier, cheaper way, but i do like stuff to be as per original

7J for the 722 Anniversary wheels, 6.5J for the Mk4 versions.
Audiman, if you are ever in the Northampton area I have two sets, both need a refurb. You are welcome to have a look.
