Title: How to syphon fuel/drain fuel tank?
Post by: scarr89 on 05 March 2016, 21:44
As title. I filled her up with a full tank of diesel before the camblet snapped the next morning, I would like to drain it to save the cost of loss fuel.

I have got the seats up in the rear and I think its the fuel pump I can see.......What next, how would I pump it out/drain it?

Cheers

Can you get it up in the air??

When I had my MK4 the guy I bought it off filled up with petrol on the day I bought it.

He got it onto a low loader and pulled off the fuel lines under the car to drain the tank :)

or power up the fuel pump and put hose in container or better in the filler neck of another (near empty) diesel car.
