Title: mk3 golf central locking
Post by: Blazeman1995 on 21 February 2016, 15:41
Hi. I'm having problems with my mk3 golf central locking. The loom that comes out of the passenger footwell has four wires. a green and a grey wire which I have established are door unlock and lock. There is another green wire and a brown wire in the loom which I am unsure what they are,  Also, on a matter of my drivers door switch, it reads positive when closed and rightclick alarm needs it to be positive when open.
Grateful for any help

With the Rightclick remote central locking kit all you need to do is find out which output wire(s) from the main unit are for lock and which are for unlock. (you usually have to connect various one's together depending on what make/model you are fitting it to).

You then connect the lock to the grey that comes from your door switch and the unlock to the green.

If you press lock and it does the opposite then just swap them around.

It's a 50/50 chance you will get it right first time.
