Hi all, I am so confused, I have replaced my battery and a new drivers door module, but still my remote fob is still not working and when I lock my car manually, it is draining my battery . Can anyone help please?

Driver's door module?
You mean the lock?
You can check the locks with VCDS, they often have micro switch faults. If you are near me I can help with diagnostics, might even have a spare micro switch knocking about somewhere.
Just read you're in Salisbury.... might be there for work but not sure when.

Hi, thank you for responding. I have just bought a new drivers door module inc micro switch, but it still does not work. My fob has stopped communicating with the car, but my car still drives? So confused😦

Which battery did you change?
The one in the key?
If so you may need to teach it to the car again (see manual). The car starting has nothing to do with remote buttons at all, this is a separate transponder that does not need a battery (it gets excited by induction from the reader coil behind the ignition barrel).
However I think you still have an issue with micro switches, might not only be the driver's side that was faulty.
It could also be broken wires in door sill..... but I'd check measuring blocks to make sure all the other locks are responding correctly.
