Greetings! First time poster.
I have two Golf Mk3 Syncro cars that I am breaking. Does anyone need a complete drivetrain for a conversion to 4wd? It looks like an easy swap; mostly bolt on other than two points on the rear suspension, where the left side is bolted through the trunk (rear boot?) floor and the other is bolted to a welded-on bracket on the right side floor. The last part could be attached by bolting a square tube to the trunk floor to get the proper spacing.
The complete system would include all parts that are different form the fwd Golf, including transmission, shifter, all the way to the rear diff.
Were there any Syncro cars sold new in the UK? They are pretty rare here in Norway, though they do exist.
Cheers, Morten.

Nah they didn't get any. Sweden got it. Both standard 1,8 Syncro and Vr6 Syncro. Colour Concept option could also be bought to Vr6 Syncro
Like this (Colour Concept Vr6 Syncro): http://www.blocket.se/vasternorrland/Vr6_synco_colour_concept_64563550.htm?ca=14&w=3&last=1
