Title: 1.9 TDI or 1.8T?!?

Ok so I've got a 1.4 s for my first car but this Aug I'm gettin a faster one ( been driving 2 years) so I'm wanting either a 1.9 or a 1.8T, want opinions as to which is the better engine? I am wanting to spend money on this car, remapping etc. There is this 1.9 TDI for sale up road for 1500.
It's a 2002 52 plate
It's don't 157000 miles
Full service history
Just passed mot

Opinions on what I should be looking at would be brill!

probably better getting the 1.8t if you don't do mega miles as they are cheap and can be tuned a little easier than the 1.9tdi  :smiley: and if you want to tune it buy 1 already done to a decent standard plenty out there
