Title: Snow foam lance
Post by: Snooze on 24 January 2016, 18:38
So my lance wouldn't foam last time I washed my car. I think it must be a bit blocked up. Bit annoying considering I religiously run it without snow foam to rinse it through after every use.

Can anyone advise how to get it working again please?

You may need to do a full service. It's an involved process and it helps to have a vice, but does get them working again.  You also need some plumbers sealing tape for when you put it back together. I've done it once on mine and it's still going strong after 3 years.  Also I gave this guide to someone a few weeks back and it brought their old lance back from the dead to.

Other than that soak the mechanism in petrol or kettle descaler for a while and see if that helps.

Neil, you might need to replace the gauze filter bit

There's also this one which is pretty much the same.

I'm not sure but think they are all much of a muchess. You could just soak your existing one in a cup of descaler or petrol.
