Title: Help engine light on and fault codes???

My friend has just changed my cam chain tensioner as its a 2010 after doing it went for a drive car felt like it was being held back the fault codes are p0016 camshaft crankshaft position and 00022 any help would be great car is taking abit to start 😡

We rip tied the chain together and replaced it with the latest tensioner so dont no how it could be? And it still runs?

Could it be the vvti timing out? How do you time it up? Thanks for ure help

Was the old chain lengthened before you replaced it?
Possible it's out by a little because of that now.......

There is a quite set procedure for replacement, did you have that to hand or did you try the 'old fashioned' way you'd use on a 90s 8v engine without vvt and a cam belt?

We have only replaced the tensioner as the old one is known to fail?
