My lock barrel comes right out...think the little hook on the end has gone bye bye

I had the exact same problem with my passenger door lock when I first got my mk3.
I bought the kit that is mention it that post. It did the job fine

I will look into it...looks like a job that is appropriate for my level of car expertise....:)
