Title: Agu k03s need advice
Post by: RnP on 18 January 2016, 21:41
Hi all haven't posted in a while but now I'm back car is currently at a garage having the following done :
G60 vr6 clutch combo
R-tech TIP
R-tech intake
K03s
Now the problem is a few years ago I had a powerflow turbo back system installed, the downpipe is 2.1/4" the rest of the system is 2.5". They managed to weld the stock cat to the stainless dp which was fine with me up until now.

My question is will the dp be sufficient for when I have the car mapped? Will the dp be too restrictive? Can I at a later date weld into a decat an eBay sports cat 200cpsi will it pass an MOT?

Sorry for going on a bit.

Mine has a 200 cell sports cat and passes an MOT fine, a 2 and 1/4 DP will be a little restrictive if you are planning to go to a stage 2 K03s then I'd look at getting a 3" DP for best performance (you can pick them up pretty cheap)

Way too restrictive... As above get yourself a 3" DP for around £80 and go from there
