Title: Windscreen Washer

Recently purchased a 63 reg GTI and one really annoying issue I'm having is when I put the wash on for the windscreen it's also coming out the rear washer as well but it's not the full wash at the rear more like a dribble down the back window, is this common or is there a fault with the system?

I think it's a fault - it shouldn't do that. There have been people who have had some sort of valve (or something) replaced, but I'm sure they'll comment soon!
