Car is a mk6 GTI
-2011
-Manual
-Has all the extras in my name tag at the bottom (fair few) no xenons :sad1:
-Mods only visual no map, springs, exhuast etc. (Vw racing sticker, wind deflectors, matt black gti badges, door sill protector carbon fibre sticker and a beautiful clean/wash)
-
Very nice. A clean black car always looks smart as
The matte black badges also look smart. Any more plans for it?
-
Car looks immense Chris, especially when it's clean, lol. Stunning shine, and great pics.
Btw....nice shorts.

Thanks mate! Fiddly things those badges to remove, especially the front!!
+ other plans, i dont think so, exterior wise dont want to make it "tacky", if i had unlimited funds maybe a cold air intake and a remap and some massive Porsche breaks! but I will never see a inch of that money back! One half of me wants the mk7 R (used one) but... i just dont know

haha thanks Bec!! Similar shine to your mk6  haha i joke yours was a level above! (dont dis the shorts haha!!)

Lovely looking car there. I'm also in the no-xenons club at the min. Was planning on getting some xenonzuk headlights but all non essential purchases are on hold due to impending house purchase, job change and wedding. Nothing like taking everything on at once!
Did you buy it with those pressed plates already fitted? Look smart

Lol, did't have a spare £10k 'lying' around, took a concerted effort to save the money over a 2 year period - was worth it though.
Not too bad round here, seems to be 5 R's in my town which I can live with. Anyway people think it's just a normal golf anyway so that makes a mockery of 'exclusivity'
-
Nice spec.
Thanks! yeah i didnt realise how good actually was until i looked more into the cars! would have loved xenons though over alot of the extras i have
-
Nice pics Chris. Was the old emblem difficult to get off? And damage to the car or emblem in the process. I have a white GTI and wondering if a black emblem would look any good..... Might look a bit out of place but def suits your black.

hi buddy - which one front or back? back was easy. screw driver in the bottom and pops off. cracked the badge but hell am not going to use it again so doesnt matter. tried my best to not crack it. could probably use my original again its not damaged that much! however would do it on warm day or get the hair dryer on it to loosen the plastic! the front was a pain. some peoples just twist off, some you need to take the whole grill front off. either isnt too bad tbh. if you know what your doing not a long job,...

I found the best way to get the back one ff was wit a pair of credit/debit cards, they didn't even mark the car or the badge.

Especially with lapiz... black kills my soul though, as soon as it rains after a wash!!!!
