Title: What's on your detailing Santa list?......What did Santa bring you?
Post by: Booth11 on 22 December 2015, 15:31
Just for a bit of festive fun, let's hear what detailing goodies you're hoping the man in the red suit will bring (i.e your wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, partners etc)...........

On my list:

Metro Vac - Vac n Blo 4.0 HP. I admit Santa made an early visit to Chez Booth, lol (but I won't be trying it until after Xmas day).

What's on your list?..........................

They seem like a luxury but when you get them you'll never imagine washing wheels without them again!

That's true!  And not just for wheels, but great for tailpipes, front grill, fogs......all 3 sizes of the set have loads of uses.

Wheel woolies are a decent bit of kit.

Top of my list is the metro sidekick, my OCD with water in the mirror housings after cleaning and betweeen the wheel bolts will hopefully be cured come the 25th :-)

My OH is very tolerant of my various interests but I don't think she would get me anything for the car. I never bother Santa with lists anyway. So long as there is a bottle of Dalwhinnie under the tree though, I'll be very happy

Haha!  Truth be told I don't bother with a list either, but this is just a bit of fun thread.  I just tell my OH what he's getting me and then go and order it myself. Safest way, I dread to think what detailing stuff I might end up with if I left it to him.

Sidekick is a great bit of kit.  Your water trap OCD cure is imminent!

No, he would do better than that for sure.  But it may surprise you to know I'm not an easy person to please on the present front  and even his best shot would be far off the mark I fear.  He knows the way to an easy life.

Unlike sealants, Dalwhinnie produces it's best results when applied liberally!

I've struggled to think of anything I want from Santa TBH. I've spent a small fortune on detailing gear this year.

I must getting old or sad or both but I really hope I get a pump sprayer. Sad but true.

Oh and fingers crossed there's enough room in my stocking for this...

Had an early Christmas present arrive today...

Now the obvious question is, are the pump sprayer and the Springbank Malt to be used together.  Cos, you're gonna need more than one bottle and that's going to be some hangover!!!

I think the Springbank might strip my LSP.

Merry Christmas Rebecca, thanks for all you help and advice. Enjoy the holiday.

I was thinking more of the pump being an aid to your consumption of the amber liquid.

Happy Christmas Rob, have a great one!
