Title: Heated steering wheel

Anyone know when the heated steering wheel got dropped?
Just wondering as it became an option when I had ordered my car last year but don't see it any more on the configurator.

You have a gti/gtd/r heated wheel?

I would have loved to have included this on my car but it's only an option for the none sports wheels, or it was the last time I looked.

No I don't have it.
I had already ordered my GTD when the changes came out and was just waiting on a build date.
To add it would have meant having to take the new price increase as well so I never went ahead with it.

It's remains in the configurator for models below GTD/GTE/GTI/R but i believe it's never been an option for GTD, etc

It was definitely on the configurator for the GTD just after I'd ordered and the link above is from a dealer who posted the MY15 changes.

I wonder if it was pulled relatively quick then?

As far as I was aware it appeared on the configurator for the GTI/GTD but that was an error and the "Performance Golf"'steering wheel has never actually been available as a heated wheel.
