Title: gear linkage alignment tool ?

where can I buy one ?
the tool for keeping the gear lever in the right place, while renewing the bushes & rods ?

Used to be on ebay, but I've just had a quick look and can't see them at the moment.

I did manage for years without one.  Have someone hold the lever vertical and use a cassette box (remember them?)  as a spacer between the lever and the reverse stop/guide.

yeh tried evil bay etc. came up empty too :sad:

I know it says out of stock but I brought one only a month ago - try calling the guy think his number is listed on the advert and see if they're running anymore off. Stainless too.

try putting gearbox into reverse. then put gearstick to reverse position and tighten pinch bolt on gearchange rod. reverse is the most important gear to get bang on and the rest will just follow :wink:
