Not sure how much value you'll get from your survey results, px varies so much with multiple factors. Even 2 salespeople from the same dealership may offer a different value dependent up on how much discount you're getting off the new one. Other factors involve how much used stock the dealership already has, sales targets, lead time for the new one (as px is based on the likely value of the car to them at swap over, not at the point of ordering a new car, and plenty of other variables.

People should state exactly what car they are buying  plus options and how much the new car is else it means Jack $hit.

Depends how you do things, I wanted a part ex price for my car irrespective of what car I ended up buying and so the price above is the part ex price whatever I had - it was the price on the new one and how much that could be moved that then mattered.

For info ended up with a £32k ex demo A6 3.0 Tdi Quattro with tech pack and a bit more assistance on the finance....

Just got a price to sell back to the dealer or trade it in, it's just not getting used. might get a runaround for the odd occasion i need a car but no point having a monthly payment for it to sit there.

Model: GTI PP 5dr DSG
Reg: June 15
Mileage:1300
Colour: reflex silver
Extras: dcc, pan roof, tech pack, park pack
Final Dealer offer: £24.5k

However i do love it to pieces and might not do it yet but had yet another attempted break in last week and it's freaked the wife out!

Confusing times!! :undecided:
