Title: bookt lock problem

Hi there I have a problem with my golf mk4 the boot don't unlock off the button or when I put the key in what can this be please

Sounds like the boot lock itself as failed, this happens because the hose going into the rear washer motor comes off and soaks the lock. Replace the lock.

You will need to crawl through the back seats and pull the inner boot lid cover off to open your boot to replace the lock.  :wink:
