Title: Tornado Red Golf R clean
Post by: Cossieian on 21 November 2015, 18:10
Absolutely freezing cold today but I just had to give my car a quick clean as I hate seeing it dirty.
Didn't spend too much time on it as it's going in to a local detailed for a complete winter prep next week, so process was:

Rinsed
Snow Foamed, left to dwell for 10 minutes
Wheels cleaned with wheel woollies and various sponges
Rinsed
Washed 2BM with Autofinesse Citrus, one panel at a time taking care not to damage paint as much as possible
Rinsed
Dried with Uber Yellow XL towel
Tyres dressed with Mequires Endurance Gel
Cup of tea and biccies to warm up

Didn't take too many pics, finnished pics aren't the best as it was sooooo cold and car had a lot of damp on it

Looks like a good job, especially considering the weather! That car park lighting is the business too

Now that is absolutely stunning!   So envious when I see TR looking like this.   Even if it was a challenging task in the freezing cold, it worked out really well.

Btw the tea and biccies obviously the most important thing on your list.

Thank you Rebecca

Tea and Biccys are my main staple in my daily diet, but taste even better after being out in the cold for almost 2 hours

Cossieian; Wow! That looks amazing. Not normally a fan of Cadiz alloys, but the combination of a freshly cleaned TR 'R' with Cadiz alloys looks the business.

If it looks like that before being professionally detailed, imagine how good it will look after. Don't forget to put some pictures up when you've had it done.

Looks stunning, you can't beat a well looked after red car. Doing everything in straight lines is your friend.

Although I did get a cold sweat when I saw the word sponge in your post!

Well I'm lying a bit there sorry, it's an incredisponge (if you know what that is?) basically a wash mitt. Haven't used a normal sponge in 10 years

Stunning job that! Red is definitely best! I like black mirror covers, very smart. Looking forwsrd to the post detailing images. Also, respect for the dedication for washing in the current weather.

Fantastic job!! I'm biased obviously but Tornado Red is a stunning colour.

Love the lighting in those car park shots, must take mine down to one for some pics too!
