I see in Auto express the VW group are offering the us owners of diesel cars affected by the emissions scandal £658 , $1000 comprising of £329 prepaid visa card , £500 VW dealership card and free 24 hour roadside assistance for 3 years , but no offers for uk owners .this is an official initial form of compensation from the VW group .although it appears to be a discount scheme to sell more cars .
I would like comments as whether this is fair given that hopefully the uk will get an offer as well or are the VW group taking the micky with this offer .
Please don't slag me off for printing it .
TIA

VW stated today that European owners would not be compensated.. BBC News Item (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34899937)

Based on the BBC Panorama shown last night, european owners may have a case, if your bothered, seek legal advice.

They wont get away with that .
Re the panorama programme and the Vauxhall tested they should have tested two different cars to see if they were they same and then Vauxhall wouldn't say the test was flawed It was very interesting I don't think VW are the only ones doing it .
