Add a bodykit, new wheels, rip out that awful interior and you might have a nice car

hold on peeps that car was brought up before and even though very nice the general opinion was that it was way too expensive i would rather buy a banger of a mk1 and do it up imho

I know what you are saying but i never paid the asking price plus i never had time to do one up so i just decided to buy a good one with a good history as i did not want the grief, and as for the price i went and looked at some right sheds that where between 2.5k and 3k so i think it was not a bad price and the good original one's will always be more sort after at the end of the day (all IMO of course) I was thinking of going here but they looked even more expensive.

Totally is the plan, i am just about to upload some more pics of it on the the site.

That car is mint, look after her well, very hard to find in that condition and as the advert states, "future classic" will be worth more if you can hang on to it a while longer

it certainly is very nice, i dnt think i would feel comfortable driving a minter of a mark 1, scared of leaving it in car parks where it can get bumped and scratched, and i wouldnt be able to drive it like its supposed to, in case i got in wrong and be known as the person who stuffed a mark 1 golf!!!
happy motoring tho, great find!!

Thanks again for all the replies and it is only going to be used for the nice sunny weekends and not left in car parks (well thats the plan)
