Hi all,

Name is James, from Ireland..New here to the forum.. Just after placing an order today for a 3DR PP Tornado Red GTI Manual for 2016. Was previously on MK5 GTI and Scirocco forums.. Looking forward to following all the posts/threads here.

Out of interest does the ROI spec GTI get xenons etc.?

ROI spec is now better than UK spec believe it or not - after years of getting fobbed off with crap standard spec, VW Ireland made massive changes last year. We now get much the same as you guys plus the Disco Nav, rear camera, high beam assist, keyless entry, are all standard here now.

The R comes with 19's as standard too.

Welcome along James - another Irishman here. I had a MK7 GTI and I'm in an R now  :wink:

Thanks Hawaii-Five-O. I think JoeGTI covered the specs fairly accurately
