Alright lads, I've just purchased a mk4 golf GTI 1.8t 20v.
I'm 21 and it will be my first car that I will be making into a project
It's black and it's in mint condition with a full service and 83k in clock. Got it for 2k and I couldn't of got a better deal.
I have already put blue sidelights in, risky but f**k it, everyone else does it and I don't see them getting pulled.
So can anyone name;
A decent induction kit?
what brand of coilovers to get?
Decent wheels that go well with it (Don't want reps tho) - thinking on a set that are gun metal grey
Going to get some wind deflectors and tint the rear windows.
So yeah, just need abit of advice, thanks in advance

Hi mate...
I am new to this forum, but we supply KYB shocks and springs at work....they are good to go with, also Febi-Bilstein mounts
As for service stuff Blu-Print ( Which is Bilstein anyways) is always good stuff..
As the induction is away from the engine I would say you wont suffer alot of heat soak ( compared to my native Vauxhall interests)...but personally I always advocate a decent replacement OE filter ( again Blu-Print) every 6 months as part of regular service schedule...
PS if you want to start light on styling maybe some LED festoon/ map/ courtesy....some snazzy puddle lights?
cheers
